Chains

Chains are great when they are the chain of tradition, but not so great when you’re talking about chains that bind you to obligations, yours or someone else’s, for instance, if someone has sold you into slavery and you are bound by their contract to perform services without any hope of gain.  Also, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.  There’s a message in that somewhere, somehow, maybe.
